The 5th International Symposium-Workshop on Frugivores and Seed Dispersal - in Montpellier, France. For anyone interested in fruit-frugivore interactions - save this date: June 13-18, 2010. This is the signature event for fruit-frugivore interactions. I have been to the last two of these (Brazil and Australia), and there is really no better way to connect with the people doing cutting-edge work on interactioins between fruiting plants and the animals that consumer their fruits and seeds. Check the website regularly for information on registration and a list of symposium topics. We are working that out now. The US organizing committee - headed up by our own Tomas Carlo - is working hard to secure funding for travel by US scientists currently.
